charming stay near euston

convenient location useful amenities friendly staff
I found the location quite convenient for getting around. It was near both euston station and tottenham court road. the room provided useful amenities. the staff were friendly and helpful. They promptly addressed my needs and questions.
The heating schedule, activated only from 6 pm to 9 am, was inconvenient. I felt cold during the day when i returned for a short rest.
Rooms
8/10
My double room had adequate space and a functional layout. The bathroom was clean and well kept. the bed was comfortable, though a bit soft for my liking, the linen felt fresh and new.
Facilities
9/10
the hotel offered luggage storage, useful before and after check-in. i noticed a small lift for accessing upper floors, a definite plus with heavy bags. the reception area, though compact, was tidy.
Dining
8/10
Breakfast included a mix of english and continental options. The croissants were fairly hard! there were vegetarian choices available, which i considered. the breakfast area was small and got busy, requiring scheduled sittings.

lukewarm water cramped breakfast area
I stayed in a room where the hot water was barely lukewarm. showering felt more like a quick, chilly rinse. also, the breakfast area was cramped. Finding a seat was like competing in a subtle, passive-aggressive game. it was hard to enjoy my coffee with people hovering, waiting for me to finish.
